Event Managers have to be able to pick up their phone and always get someone on the end who can provide a service or product to assist with their event. Anything can happen at an event and a successful Event Manager must be flexible, adaptable and able to think on the spot and utilise their resources and contacts to provide a suitable solution.

5. Creativity

Innovation is key to any event standing out from the rest and being memorable for all attendees. Event Managers need to be able to think outside the box to come up with creative ways for an audience or event attendees to engage with their clients’ product or service both at the event and beyond.
